...and when I'm not reading or writing? I'm hiking. Sometimes cooking. Always eating. Or organizing holiday food distributions for home-bound seniors - the other hat I wear. That's me and my Covid captured daughter prepping bags last April. I live in Northern California with my scientist/artist husband, tucked away in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. But as soon as I open my mouth, often and loudly, it's clear my roots are firmly planted in Brooklyn, NYC, my hometown.
